Fitness & Lifestyle Coaching for Equestrians
Meet Frankie

I loved horses from a very young age and first had riding lessons when I was 6 years old. We weren’t a horsey family but my mother religiously took me to my weekly lessons at a riding school just outside Windsor.
Skip forward a few years and following the completion of a Law degree at Exeter University I began my working life as a marketing broker in London. I spent 3 fun years working in town, but that life was not for me. Having spent a weekend staying with a friend on Dartmoor going on long hacks I realised I wanted to make a life with horses somehow.

My adventure began as I left London and started working with horses beginning briefly at a riding school (before realising I wanted a faster pace) and happily leaping into life as a working pupil for an event rider. I started competing myself and have been bitten by the bug ever since. I loved working with horses and soaked up all the information that I could. Rode on my days off, helped at competitions and just couldn’t get enough.
After a few years I decided pursuing a career in sports to work alongside working with horse would be a fantastic and practical combination. I qualified as a personal trainer and my first clients were riders. It was a natural fit. Bringing better health and fitness to my rider clients is incredibly rewarding. Sport and fitness for equestrians is something I’m passionate about. In addition to eventing the sports and hobbies I pursue include mountain biking, spinning, gym workouts, swimming, kayaking, eventing and spending time with our young, family and running our small holding with my husband.Following the delivery of our children by c-section and coming back to fitness myself to pursue my work as a personal trainer and my passion as an event rider - I feel I’m able to relate to my clients and their day-to-day challenges - this helps me as a trainer.

I’ve now spent almost 2 decades training riders both amateurs and professionals to be fitter and more flexible riders across all disciplines. The last 2 seasons I’ve thoroughly enjoyed training a Senior Rider on the GB Eventing Squad and have liaised with the GB Equestrian Federation as part of this. To add to my work as Holistic Health and Fitness Coach I’m lucky to be supported by some fabulous companies that Pro Rider Fitness partners with. I’ve always enjoyed writing articles on health and fitness and most recently have begun a 6-month feature series on Holistic Health and Fitness for Equestrians for Your Horse Magazine.

Meet Liz
I’ve always adored horses and have been riding since I was a little girl. Having spent time working as a head groom for an event rider and running yards I am now enjoying horses being my hobby. I love exploring the countryside and drag hunting on my horse Badger. My other work background professionally is in IT and I work for Frankie on her 3 brands, building and maintaining the websites.
